About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process end-to-end payroll for employees
  • Verify, input, and review payroll and employee information
  • Review Time & Attendance records, reports, and employee timesheets to verify extra hours worked
  • Apply relevant policies, procedures, and internal controls to payroll, workers compensation, and superannuation
  • Implement authorized changes to pay rates and employment terms and conditions
  • Coordinate monthly compliance checks to meet FairWork legislation, including casual conversion and junior rate changes

Requirements

  • Previous payroll experience in a medium to large organisation
  • Experience using payroll systems, specifically MicrOPay or SAGE
  • Experience communicating with and advising senior business and HR stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance or a related discipline preferred
  • Current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Flexibility regarding working hours in relation to tennis events
