About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process end-to-end payroll for employees
- Verify, input, and review payroll and employee information
- Review Time & Attendance records, reports, and employee timesheets to verify extra hours worked
- Apply relevant policies, procedures, and internal controls to payroll, workers compensation, and superannuation
- Implement authorized changes to pay rates and employment terms and conditions
- Coordinate monthly compliance checks to meet FairWork legislation, including casual conversion and junior rate changes
Requirements
- Previous payroll experience in a medium to large organisation
- Experience using payroll systems, specifically MicrOPay or SAGE
- Experience communicating with and advising senior business and HR stakeholders
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance or a related discipline preferred
- Current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexibility regarding working hours in relation to tennis events
