Payroll Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process for all Belgian employees, ensuring accurate and timely delivery in partnership with external providers
• Ensure full compliance with Belgian social security, labor law, and tax regulations, including statutory declarations and year-end obligations
• Oversee the administration of employee benefits, such as meal vouchers, company cars, mobility budgets, and group insurance
• Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, providing expertise to HR, managers, and employees
• Support the optimization and continuous improvement of HR systems, including payroll and time management solutions
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, and IT teams to align on compliance and people-related processes
• Analyze payroll and HR data to provide actionable insights for business decision-making

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll, HR operations, or a related HR management role
• Deep expertise in Belgian payroll, social legislation, labor law, and tax regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR reporting tools
• Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Workday or other Time & Attendance solutions
• Background in HRIS implementation, payroll optimization, or process improvement projects
