Payroll Manager

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain accurate payroll records in accordance with company policies, often within 24 hours of an event.
• Collaborate with department managers to ensure all staff are scheduled correctly within the ABIMM payroll system.
• Coordinate and confirm event staffing to ensure all departments are adequately staffed to meet management requirements.
• Monitor attendance numbers and communicate staffing changes or backup plans to department heads.
• Perform timeclock troubleshooting and assist with employee onboarding, credentialing, and record-keeping.
• Maintain compliance documentation, including incident reports and insurance claims.
• Oversee the ordering, fulfillment, and distribution of venue materials as needed.

Requirements

• 1+ years of administrative experience, preferably in an events or HR role.
• 2-3 years of work experience in a comparable role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to sit, type, walk, and occasionally lift 25 lbs.
