Payroll Manager

Responsibilities

• Partner with Global Payroll engagement teams to drive GDS Payroll delivery initiatives
• Manage payroll system set-up, including data migration and transition processes
• Review payroll processing services to ensure accuracy in pay disbursement, overpayment recovery, and leave management
• Ensure compliance with relevant taxation, social security, and statutory legislative obligations
• Provide responsive client advisory services and resolve complex payroll enquiries
• Coach, mentor, and coordinate the activities of the local payroll operations team
• Manage the application of the Hub’s methodology framework and principles

Requirements

• Proven experience in handling end-to-end payroll processing and high-volume payroll
• Exposure to multi-country payroll within a client service environment
• Experience using large-scale ERP systems
• Advanced or expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong people management skills, including supervision and team building
• Excellent numeracy skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• A payroll-related diploma or certificate
• Prior experience in tax accounting and finance
• Strong analytical skills
