Payroll Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise end-to-end payroll processes, including data entry, validation, approval, and controls.
• Ensure the timely execution of all payroll cycles, including off-cycle requirements.
• Validate deliverables from external payroll providers prior to distribution.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external payroll service providers.
• Collaborate closely with People Experience, Finance, Tax, and Global Payroll teams.
• Ensure full compliance with local French legislation and internal company policies.
• Maintain a robust control environment and ensure continuous readiness for audits.
• Manage employee inquiries and requests related to payroll.
• Contribute to transformation projects and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Fluent in both French and English.
• Deep knowledge of French payroll legislation and regulations.
• 5+ years of experience in end-to-end payroll management within complex environments.
• Proven experience managing external payroll service providers.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in a coordination or leadership role within the French market.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within an international organizational environment.
• Proficiency with payroll systems and tools such as Workday Payroll or People Ask.
• Ability to contribute effectively to large-scale transformation projects.
