Payroll Lead

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll services including salaries, overtime, bonuses, and commissions
• Develop and direct the preparation of payroll and related reports
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements
• Manage the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures
• Assist Group CFOs by reporting on variances in payroll input and data
• Manage the payroll system and review enhancements for business implementation
• Administer all employee benefits for the Group and manage service provider relationships
• Manage annual internal and external payroll audits
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of payroll officers

Requirements

• Degree or Advanced Diploma in HR or a financial-related field
• 7-10 years of payroll experience including benefits administration
• 3-4 years of experience leading a payroll or finance team
• Proficiency in Payspace or similar payroll systems
• Advanced Excel skills (V-lookups, pivot tables, graphs) and Google Suite
• Strong reporting and benefits management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Finance experience is an added advantage
