Payroll Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Process full cycle semi-monthly payroll for salaried and hourly employees for review
• Prepare tax forms such as T4s and issue Records of Employment (ROEs)
• Maintain employee payroll records and update changes including new hires and terminations
• Assist with year-end procedures, tax filings, and payroll reconciliations
• Manage payroll entries and apply pay policies regarding vacation, LOA, disability, and workers' compensation
• Prepare historical compensation data for the executive leadership team
• Pull reports from the HRIS system and support the People Operations team with inquiries

Requirements

• 1+ years of Payroll and Benefits administration experience for Canada and/or the US
• Completed or currently working towards a Payroll Compliance Professional designation
• Knowledge of federal, provincial, and state payroll regulations and requirements
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and GSuite

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with US pay and benefits programs
