Payroll Configuration Specialist

Responsibilities

• Configure and set up standard country payroll solutions using Strada Pay's low-code/no-code framework and Excel-based workbooks.
• Support Payroll Country Owners by translating local payroll requirements into technical configurations.
• Test payroll configurations and updates to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Identify and resolve payroll system issues and discrepancies.
• Maintain and adhere to best practices and standards to ensure consistency across all country payrolls.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and QA teams to identify new features and user stories.
• Manage work and risks in line with the Strada Product SDLC and DevOps processes.
• Provide coaching and advice to Country Champions and other business stakeholders on solution capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in payroll processing and/or payroll system configuration.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel is a must.
• Experience with SAP Payroll or similar payroll software systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English (written and oral).
• Experience with Azure DevOps or Jira is welcomed.

• Knowledge of country-specific legislative payroll requirements.
• A proactive, self-starter mindset with a "can-do" attitude.
• Experience working in a cloud-based payroll configuration environment.
