Payroll Configuration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Configure multi-country payroll solutions using Strada Pay’s low-code/no-code Excel workbooks
• Support Payroll Country Owners by interpreting requirements and configuring technical solutions
• Test payroll configurations and updates to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Identify and resolve payroll system issues, discrepancies, and risks
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and QA teams to enhance framework capabilities
• Maintain documentation, guides, and best practices for the Strada Pay framework
• Manage work according to SDLC and DevOps processes using tools like Azure DevOps

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (BE/B.Tech) or a related field
• Advanced Excel skills (mandatory)
• Experience in payroll processing and/or payroll system configuration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Proactive, service-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of country-specific payroll legislation
• Experience working with Azure DevOps or Jira
