About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end payroll validation, including pre- and post-payroll audits, variance analysis, and reconciliation of payroll outputs.
  • Leverage data analysis using Excel and reporting tools to identify trends, discrepancies, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for payroll and HR systems, specifically supporting ADP GlobalView and Workday.
  • Support payroll-related projects and system implementations, including testing (UAT) and go-live activities.
  • Ensure alignment with internal audit requirements and company policies to mitigate payroll risks.
  • Maintain and update payroll procedures and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for associate inquiries and third-party communications, resolving complex issues with empathy and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor's degree, four-year equivalent, or finished apprenticeship.
  • 2-4 years of United Kingdom payroll experience.
  • Deep knowledge of UK country laws pertaining to payroll, including tax, social insurance, work rules, and statutory reporting.
  • Proficiency in Excel and various reporting tools.
  • Experience working with ADP GlobalView or Workday.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive financial information with integrity and discretion.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the business.
