About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of US hourly/salary and Canadian salary payroll
- Perform payroll audits, research discrepancies, and resolve tax compliance notices
- Manage day-to-day equity workflows between E*TRADE and payroll, including vestings and ESPP purchases
- Maintain participant information in the E*TRADE system and run ad hoc reports
- Assist with trade clearance, 10b5-1 plan reviews, and open trading window communications
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws
- Maintain accurate documentation of payroll and month-end processing to remain SOX compliant
- Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll and equity inquiries
Requirements
- 5+ years of combined payroll and equity experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Sheets, Forms, Docs)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task and work across multiple systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the E*TRADE Stock Admin platform
- Ability to process basic payroll and equity-related journal entries
