Payroll and Benefits Manager

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll for U.S. and international employees and contractors
• Manage employee compensation changes, including new hires, terminations, and adjustments across currencies
• Administer Carta equity workflows, including grants, vesting, and exercises
• Own multi-state and international compliance, including tax registrations and worker classification
• Manage benefits administration, including enrollments and vendor coordination
• Reconcile payroll and equity with Finance monthly and lead year-end compliance activities
• Build scalable processes and controls to support rapid headcount growth

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in payroll, equity administration, and compliance
• Experience managing payroll and worker-classification across multiple U.S. states and international markets
• Hands-on experience with Rippling and Carta
• Advanced Excel skills and a detail-oriented mindset for audits and reconciliations
• Strong process-building instincts to create workflows from the ground up

Preferred Qualifications

• CPP certification
• Global payroll experience
• Deep exposure to international equity and compliance requirements
