About the role
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end semi-monthly payroll processing for 250+ U.S. team members in UKG
- Maintain accurate team member records and run routine data audits in HRIS
- Manage day-to-day administration of health benefit plans, 401(k), and wellness programs
- Lead annual open enrollment, including system configuration and employee communications
- Handle new hire onboarding setup for tax withholding, direct deposit, and benefits
- Manage leave of absence routing and payroll integration
- Support external audits and maintain audit-ready records for payroll and benefits
Requirements
- 3–5 years in payroll processing, benefits administration, or HRIS data entry
- Experience with UKG or a comparable platform
- BA/BS in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of U.S. payroll fundamentals (tax withholding, deductions, garnishments)
- Familiarity with COBRA, ACA eligibility tracking, and HIPAA data handling
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Experience using Notion, Google Workspace, and AI tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Full employee lifecycle experience in payroll and benefits
- Exposure to HR system integrations or HRIS configuration
- Experience supporting external audits or financial reconciliation
- FPC certification or progress toward CPP
