Payroll and Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities including journal entries, accrual adjustments, and account reconciliations
• Assist with semi-monthly payroll processing by gathering and inputting payroll data
• Track, categorize, and report on payroll-related costs and identify trends or variances
• Help design and automate accounting workflows using AI tools and technology
• Build simple reports and respond to ad hoc business questions
• Research and resolve exception-based transactions
• Document processes and identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or related field
• Eagerness to learn with a growth mindset and coachability
• Comfort with Microsoft Excel or willingness to develop strong skills quickly
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Solid problem-solving and analytical instincts
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to stay organized and manage time in a fast-paced environment
