About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the payroll function within a shared services model, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies
- Lead and manage payroll staff, including planning work, appraising performance, and guiding professional development
- Achieve defined performance levels as agreed in Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Manage day-to-day relationships with payroll service providers
- Maintain all statutory reporting relating to payroll and manage organizational structure for payroll codings to General Ledger Financials
- Produce and maintain payroll procedures and participate in project work for new processes
- Provide support to internal customers regarding legislation and policy changes
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6-10 years of International Payroll experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills
- Ability to work in shifts as appropriate to the regions or countries being managed
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines
