Payroll Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze, audit, and validate HR data including hires, terminations, and pay/deductions before vendor submission
• Review vendor-produced payroll outputs for accuracy and prepare pre-authorization documents
• Handle secondary payroll tasks such as final calculations, stop payments, and third-party payments
• Prepare journal entries and work with the accounting team on variance analysis and queries
• Support year-end audit, tax preparation, and reporting processes
• Assist with shadow payroll administration for international assignees
• Address payroll-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
• Track absence records, calculate related payments, and prepare accruals
• Participate in ad-hoc projects, including new business unit setups and system enhancements

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of payroll experience within complex, multi-site, international organizations
• Strong understanding of statutory payroll legislation across Asia
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office suite
• Experience in journal creation, account analysis, and payroll reconciliation
• Fluent English communication skills

• Recognized Payroll Qualification
• Experience managing payroll for multiple countries
• Familiarity with various Accounting and HR systems
