About the role
Responsibilities
- Support payroll administration for Germany, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Assist with year-end filing processes and maintain payroll checklists to meet established deadlines.
- Resolve associate inquiries regarding payroll, HR, and benefits using the Service Cloud ticketing system.
- Facilitate statutory reporting, including Social Insurance and Tax registrations and government-mandated surveys.
- Administer country-specific benefits such as pension enrollment and health insurance communications.
- Manage administrative tasks including daily mail operations, postal service relationships, and local language translations.
- Support labor relations by compiling data requested by the Works Council or Unions.
Requirements
- Proven understanding of German payroll processes and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using ticketing or case management systems (Service Cloud experience is a plus).
- Fluency in both German and English.
- Ability to work from the Düsseldorf office on-site.
- Availability to work 20 hours per week, distributed across at least 4 days.
- Strong attention to detail and a customer-service mindset.
