Payments Operations Lead

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day operations of the Yaydoo payments platform, monitoring transaction activity and resolving issues
• Drive payment volume growth by removing friction from onboarding, activation, and implementation
• Track and improve key performance metrics including throughput, success rates, and settlement timing
• Refine business rules, payment workflows, exception handling, and reconciliation processes
• Partner with product and engineering to identify operational pain points and prioritize infrastructure improvements
• Collaborate with compliance, treasury, finance, and CX to ensure scalable and safe payment operations
• Maintain strong documentation, reporting, controls, and auditability across payment flows
• Support LATAM expansion by adapting operating models to local market needs and regulatory considerations

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in fintech, banking, payment operations, or treasury operations
• Full professional fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
• Experience scaling payment operations, including volume ramp and operational hardening
• Strong understanding of payment flows, reconciliations, settlement, and transaction monitoring
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and finance teams
• Strong project management skills in fast-moving environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to LATAM payments or multi-market payment operations
• Experience with blockchain or decentralized payments
• Experience with B2B SaaS payments or high-growth fintech environments
