Responsibilities

• Ensure money moves reliably across every flow and develop monitoring and alerting protocols
• Lead triage and resolution of consumer and restaurant payment issues with clear SLAs
• Define and own all operational payment workflows for customers and partners
• Own the strategy and implementation of risk management across the business
• Lead investigation and analysis of emerging risk areas
• Define, build, and operate a scalable account integrity program
• Partner with engineering to build risk management tooling and evaluate third-party platforms
• Build a feedback loop from operations into product and engineering to ensure scalable fixes

Requirements

• 4-7 years in payments operations, fraud operations, or risk analytics at a fintech, payments company, or marketplace
• Deep familiarity with dispute and chargeback lifecycles, ACH return codes, and fraud typologies
• SQL fluency for data extraction and evidence-based recommendations
• Clear, concise written communication skills for executive reporting
• High ownership and a bias toward systematic fixes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience standing up a payments ops or fraud function from scratch
• Exposure to restaurant payments, hospitality tech, or two-sided marketplaces
• Working knowledge of Nacha rules and return rate thresholds
• Familiarity with processor dashboards like Stripe or Adyen and payout infrastructure like Bill.com
