Payments Liquidity Lead

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the treasury operations function from the ground up for the Polygon Open Money Stack.
• Own capital orchestration across all corridors, deciding liquidity placement and movement based on real-time demand.
• Execute intraday funding and rebalancing decisions, managing transactions and instructing aggregator partners.
• Price treasury costs into commercial deals in real time to ensure corridor unit economics are maintained.
• Manage the FX hedge book daily and oversee stablecoin and fiat liquidity across banking partners and on-chain venues.
• Build an AI-driven liquidity sourcing engine using tools like Claude to automate pricing analysis and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product teams to translate capital requirements into infrastructure decisions.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in intraday capital management (e.g., payments company, OTC desk, or market maker).
• Hands-on expertise in cross-border payments, including FX exposure and multi-currency liquidity management.
• Non-negotiable experience with stablecoin or crypto treasury operations.
• Proven daily usage of AI tools (e.g., Claude) to build automated workflows or modeling.
• Strong commercial fluency with the ability to defend financial decisions to sales teams and executives.
• High ownership instinct with the ability to build and run a function independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience managing aggregator relationships such as Bitso or Thunes.
• Familiarity with Talos or equivalent treasury management and trading infrastructure.
• Experience building pricing models for cross-border payment corridors within the fintech industry.
