About the role
About the Company
The Better Money Company is building a stablecoin clearinghouse to make stablecoins move like money, not a trading asset. We are a small, scrappy team based in NYC, backed by $10M from a16z Crypto and other partners.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale components of our fiat money movement clearing system
- Build integrations with banks, stablecoin issuers, custodians, and other partners
- Design and build core product functionality to enable better stablecoin payments products
- Contribute to all aspects of the business and team success
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building with payment systems, financial infrastructure, or banking integrations
- Experience scaling a payment system from 0-1 and 1-10
- Deep understanding of fiat payment rails such as ACH, wires, and RTP
- Strong fundamentals in distributed systems
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and take ownership
