Payments Client Onboarding Associate

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end onboarding and implementation plans, including scope confirmation, project timelines, and status reporting.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during the onboarding journey, coordinating across global regions and time zones.
• Assist in client-facing engagements and discovery workshops to refine solutions and recommend onboarding approaches.
• Support legal and compliance processes, including contract coordination and ensuring all necessary approvals are completed prior to go-live.
• Partner with technology and operations teams to support testing readiness and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify and contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the client onboarding experience.
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and firmwide compliance policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in cash management, transaction banking, corporate finance, or with a payment service provider.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams in parallel.
• Clear and professional communication skills for effective collaboration across global teams.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to taking ownership of tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Awareness of global payments and treasury management practices.
• Basic understanding of payment file or data transfer technologies such as ISO XML, SFTP, API, or SWIFT.
• Exposure to artificial intelligence, automation tools, or data analysis platforms.
