Payments and Operations Junior Associate

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payment processing, including deposits, withdrawals, refunds, and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with payment providers, banks, and internal teams to resolve issues and improve user satisfaction.
• Optimize payment workflows to increase speed, reduce costs, and minimize processing errors.
• Analyze payment trends and customer behavior to propose new or improved payment methods.
• Support the integration of new payment solutions and technologies with minimal user impact.
• Monitor transactions to identify and investigate suspicious activity in coordination with fraud and compliance teams.
• Implement risk controls and strategies to reduce fraud exposure in line with AML and KYC requirements.
• Ensure all operational processes comply with industry standards and relevant regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in payment operations, fraud management, or risk management within fintech, e-commerce, or financial services.
• Proven experience working with payment gateways, PSPs, and fraud detection systems.
• Strong understanding of payment processing, fraud prevention, and risk management practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across different specialties.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
