Payments Analyst Intern

Responsibilities

• Track global launches, regulatory changes, M&A activity, and technology shifts across payment networks, processors, and wallets
• Conduct structured research on new payment methods, provider capabilities, and market trends
• Maintain the accuracy and completeness of the payments provider database, including fees, integration types, and certifications
• Synthesize complex information into clear summaries, briefings, and frameworks for internal stakeholders
• Translate research into actionable deliverables such as competitive maps, provider scorecards, and market entry briefs
• Monitor the global competitive landscape to flag emerging players and market shifts

Requirements

• Genuine interest in the payments industry, including knowledge of payment rails, wallets, and processors
• Less than 1 year of professional experience (final-year undergraduate or fresher)
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• High level of research rigor and ability to build structured databases
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
