Payment Specialist (Accounts Receivable)

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable processes, including reviewing sales orders for accuracy and processing daily invoices
• Ensure proper coding for transactions and process credit memos for returns
• Handle credit card payments and cash receipts entries within the ERP system
• Prepare and maintain detailed Excel spreadsheets to track financial data
• Perform routine calculating, posting, and verifying of financial data to maintain accurate accounting records
• Provide assistance to the Controller and other departments as requested

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Formal Accounting/Finance education is a plus)
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Experience working with accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to provide accurate calculations and postings
