Payment Solution Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales support to deliver customized payment solution designs for high-potential opportunities and strategic client accounts.
• Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to create business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Support sales presentations, meetings, and customer responses to RFPs/RFIs.
• Produce technical proposals, cost models, and technical requirements for internal delivery teams.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the payments industry, including security standards, message protocols, and alternative payment methods.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal delivery, support, and operational teams.
• Identify opportunities to aid revenue and pipeline activities to meet sales targets.

Requirements

• Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
• Proven experience with payment acceptance methods (Attended and Unattended/POS).
• Strong knowledge of transactional message and protocol standards such as ISO and Nexo.
• Experience with data networking, including IP-based access, Layer 2/Layer 3 services, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with SDWAN services and hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, and Teltonika.
• Understanding of security standards including PCI DSS and P2PE.
• Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of payment orchestration, fraud prevention, and alternative payment methods (Wallets, eCommerce).
