Payment & Recovery Officer

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payment recovery for platform orders and service invoices
• Conduct high-volume collection outreach via email and phone
• Escalate to debt collection agencies when necessary
• Interact with retailers and brands to lead the recovery process
• Analyze customer feedback and payment behavior to improve the payment experience
• Drive cross-functional projects with Tech, Product, Data, CX, and Logistics teams
• Identify and assess fraud risks within payment flows and contribute to mitigation strategies

Requirements

• Degree from a Business or Engineering School (or equivalent)
• Fluent French and very good English (written and spoken)
• Comfortable with direct phone communication with retailers and brands
• Strong sense of initiative, rigor, and thoroughness
• Solid skills in Google Sheets and/or Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in debt collection, recovery, or a payment-related role
• Experience managing high-volume professional email and phone outreach
• Familiarity with payment platforms or financial tools
• Understanding of B2B payment processes and credit management
• Good analytical skills and curiosity for tech and digital tools
• Experience using AI tools or driving process improvements
