Responsibilities

• Define rail and instrument strategy, including ACH vs. card usage and fallback mechanisms
• Manage funding-instrument health through card-update, AVS, and re-instrument flows
• Own payment orchestration, including cadence, retries, and preventing orphaned transactions
• Oversee reconciliation and settlement, ensuring ledger integrity and settlement timing
• Drive reliability and cost outcomes, managing the payments scorecard (approval rates, cost per dollar moved, uptime)

Requirements

• 8+ years in payments product management with end-to-end roadmap ownership
• Deep expertise in ACH and card-network mechanics (return codes, retry rules, AVS/BIN behavior)
• System-level fluency in rail orchestration, fallback design, and ledgering
• Proven track record shipping on high-volume payment systems
• Ability to leverage data and AI to diagnose and define metrics

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Earned Wage Access (EWA) or consumer fintech lending
• Familiarity with reconciliation and financial-close processes
• Experience applying AI and automation to payment operations
