Payment Principal Product Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead the lifecycle of payment products including accounts, international transfers, cards, digital wallets, FIAT currencies, and stablecoins
• Establish and oversee clearing and settlement systems such as SWIFT, EBA Clearing, and TIPS
• Maintain payment standards including SEPA and ISO 20022
• Design internal treasury and cash management systems to optimize liquidity and fund safety
• Act as the primary interface between technical teams, legal, compliance, AML, and external financial partners

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in payments within a bank, e-money institution, or PSP
• Strong technical knowledge of payment protocols (SWIFT, SEPA) and product architecture
• Deep understanding of European regulations including PSD2/PSD3, E-Money Act, AMLD, GDPR, and DORA
• Professional fluency in both English and German is mandatory
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment
