Payment Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a global team responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payment transactions across direct and indirect clearing channels.
• Define and communicate the vision and roadmap for the Payment Operations sub-capability to ensure alignment with enterprise strategy.
• Champion modernization and innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and drive productivity.
• Maintain a robust control environment aligned with enterprise risk and compliance frameworks.
• Ensure operational excellence through the delivery of a resilient and globally consistent operating model.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and provide incident response and crisis management for issues impacting the sub-capability.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and service excellence within a diverse, high-performing team.
• Oversee data stewardship to ensure the quality, completeness, and accuracy of all outputs.

Requirements

• University degree in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in the financial services industry with specific domain expertise in Payment Operations.
• Extensive experience in operations management within a complex, global organization.
• Proven track record of leading and guiding multi-jurisdictional teams.
• Experience operating within established risk, compliance, and resiliency frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and deliver concise messaging to diverse stakeholder groups.
