Payload Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for system requirements and support documentation
• Manage contract details including funding and value modifications
• Prioritize mission needs and workload independently
• Monitor task execution and assist in preparing project briefs and reports
• Assemble acquisition documents for purchase request packages
• Assist in portfolio, program, and project planning and control
• Support sponsor in determining technical and financial risk for O&M requirements
• Support travel to contractor and test facilities for reviews and system testing

Requirements

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Fundamental understanding of government contract structure
• Engineering or technical background with experience in complex airborne ISR collection platforms
• Ability to travel locally, CONUS, and OCONUS
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI DoD clearance with polygraph
• U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Background in electrical, software, or aeronautical engineering
• 3-5 years of experience
