Pattern Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage fit and construction approval from 1st proto to PP sample
• Develop complete patterns and markers to achieve design aesthetic, fit, and construction
• Collaborate with APAC Designers to realize design visions and technical requirements
• Identify, adjust, and correct fit issues through pattern corrections
• Communicate and advise APAC teams and vendors on pattern construction and grading
• Maintain an online library of approved patterns and nests to ensure fit consistency
• Partner with factories to ensure accurate use of patterns for sampling and production
• Participate in fittings and mentor the Technical Development team on pattern and grading

Requirements

• Patternmaking Degree
• 5–8 years of industry experience in pattern making (development through production)
• Expert proficiency in Gerber pattern making, including checking nests and markers
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and PLM software
• Experience working with manufacturers across Asia
• Strong understanding of fit, balance, garment construction, and fabric reaction
• Experience with 3D software (CLO, Browzwear) is an asset

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of performance apparel, including materials and body movement
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
