Patient Watch

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient safety and immediately report changes in behavior or condition to hospital staff
• Maintain constant observation of assigned patients
• Utilize de-escalation techniques to ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and staff
• Document incidents, observations, and patient interactions accurately
• Operate two-way radios and computer systems for communication
• Follow all healthcare facility safety protocols and security procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Clean Criminal Record
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Reliable personal vehicle for regional travel
• Open availability for days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication and report-writing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic Security Training (BST)
• First Aid Certification
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) Training
• Previous healthcare security or customer service experience
