Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Director, Clinical Director, and Director of Operations
- Maintain files, supplies, and general office organization
- Assist hospice team members with ordering medical equipment and managing correspondence
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies for field staff
- Assist Clinical Director with field staff scheduling and assignment notifications
- File clinical documentation to maintain open charts
- Prepare patient charts and Plan of Care Updates for team meetings
- Answer and channel telephone inquiries
- Track and maintain physician orders in the EMR to ensure proper billing flow
- Maintain patient census lists and meeting templates
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience in hospice or healthcare preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Ability to learn department and job-specific software systems
- Strong organizational and analytical problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age
