Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director, Clinical Director, and Director of Operations
  • Maintain files, supplies, and general office organization
  • Assist hospice team members with ordering medical equipment and managing correspondence
  • Maintain inventory of medical supplies for field staff
  • Assist Clinical Director with field staff scheduling and assignment notifications
  • File clinical documentation to maintain open charts
  • Prepare patient charts and Plan of Care Updates for team meetings
  • Answer and channel telephone inquiries
  • Track and maintain physician orders in the EMR to ensure proper billing flow
  • Maintain patient census lists and meeting templates

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience in hospice or healthcare preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Ability to learn department and job-specific software systems
  • Strong organizational and analytical problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
