About the role

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients in person, providing a friendly and supportive first impression.
  • Collect and verify demographic, insurance, and benefits information.
  • Check in patients and assist with required paperwork, including financial assistance applications.
  • Explain cost information to patients, collect co-pays and deductibles, and counsel on financial assistance programs.
  • Address and resolve claim issues or registration errors within the electronic medical record.
  • Provide customer service for inbound and outbound telephone calls to resolve patient inquiries.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing assigned work queues.
  • Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of customer service experience.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Ability to work every 3rd weekend and holidays.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work standard daytime hours for the first 3 weeks of training.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Revenue Cycle experience.
  • General office experience.
  • Experience using Epic.
