About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, diagnostic tests, procedures, and treatments.
  • Serve as a primary contact for patients and families regarding scheduling, prepayments, and next steps.
  • Partner with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care delivery.
  • Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR), physician orders, and appointment templates with high precision.
  • Process payments, verify insurance information, and reconcile patient accounts.
  • Ensure all patient information is handled securely in compliance with privacy regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of relevant work experience (additional education may be substituted for experience on a one-to-one basis).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Must pass a pre-employment skills test administered by Human Resources.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or scheduling systems.
