Patient Services Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality healthcare services and administrative support at the Michigan Medicine Ambulatory Care Saline Health Center
• Create an ideal experience for patients, families, and employees through compassionate and enthusiastic service
• Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor to support a patient-oriented environment
• Manage office practices and utilize information technology to support clinic operations
• Demonstrate flexibility in all aspects of work assignments to meet clinic needs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency with computers and general knowledge of office practices
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience
• Experience working in a patient care setting
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology
• Experience with Michigan Medicine's electronic medical record system
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and a positive, professional attitude
