Patient Services Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in an ambulatory setting
• Conduct patient check-in and check-out procedures
• Schedule appointments, tests, and consultations
• Verify and update patient information and records
• Obtain necessary referrals and prior authorizations
• Confirm patient charges and collect payments
• Manage and maintain In-Baskets in a timely manner
• Execute various clerical tasks for the front office

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience
• Proficiency with computers and navigating multiple applications
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience with MiChart or other Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
