About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service in an ambulatory setting
- Conduct patient check-in and check-out processes
- Schedule appointments, tests, and consultations
- Verify and update patient information and records
- Obtain necessary referrals and prior authorizations
- Confirm patient charges and collect payments
- Manage and maintain In-Baskets in a timely manner
- Execute various clerical and front office tasks
Requirements
- High school graduation or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple applications
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of customer service experience
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Existing experience with MiChart or other EHR systems
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
