Patient Services Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in an ambulatory setting
• Conduct patient check-in and check-out processes
• Schedule appointments, tests, and consultations
• Verify and update patient information and records
• Obtain necessary referrals and prior authorizations
• Confirm patient charges and collect payments
• Manage and maintain In-Baskets in a timely manner
• Execute various clerical and front office tasks

Requirements

• High school graduation or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple applications

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology
• Existing experience with MiChart or other EHR systems
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
