Patient Services Associate

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet patients and families, providing exceptional customer service and wayfinding assistance
• Act as a patient and family advocate by communicating needs to clinicians and staff
• Escort patients and family members to Pre-Operative, Recovery, or consultation areas
• Use software programs to ensure patients flow through the system in a timely and well-documented manner
• Provide clerical support, including fielding phone calls and routing communications
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance the patient experience
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain a professional, respectful, and efficient environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in customer service
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience in a hospital or surgical environment
• Knowledge of scheduling in MiChart (EPIC)
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving and investigative skills
• Bachelor's Degree or comparable combination of experience and education
