Patient Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up medical equipment from homecare patients
• Set up equipment and provide basic instructions to patients on proper use
• Schedule and organize daily deliveries and pickups based on geographic territory
• Load and unload durable medical equipment, oxygen, and medical supplies onto delivery vehicles
• Maintain accurate paperwork, including delivery logs, pick-up forms, and vehicle maintenance logs
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance such as checking fluids and tire pressure
• Respond to emergency delivery calls on an on-call basis as needed
• Monitor and report any unsafe home environments or concerns regarding patient welfare to supervisors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of related work experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Minimum of three years of driving history
• Valid Driver's license
• Basic computer and mathematical skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 160 lbs) and navigate stairs
