About the role

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and guests upon arrival, confirming identity and providing visit information
  • Complete patient check-in and check-out functions
  • Confirm and update patient identification, demographic, and insurance information
  • Complete patient registration and obtain necessary consents and authorizations
  • Collect co-payments, past due balances, and point of service payments
  • Post payments, process billing information, and perform end-of-day cash drawer closing
  • Schedule appointments and inform patients of any delays or changes in status
  • Maintain a clean and comfortable waiting area
  • Float to other Immediate Care Clinics or departments as required

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 0-2 years of experience in a customer service position

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology
  • Bilingual skills
