About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide service and explanations of hospital products and facilities to patients and families
- Build relationships with patients, families, and staff to ensure high satisfaction
- Communicate findings and patient needs to healthcare team members
- Investigate and respond to patient complaints and concerns
- Act as an intermediary between Hospital Administration and patients/families
- Educate healthcare professionals on humanizing patient care
- Conduct follow-up calls to discharged patients for feedback
- Develop care plans to meet personal health care needs
- Comply with organizational guidelines, healthcare laws, and regulations
- Implement quality and safety procedures and collect necessary data
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related major
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in the same field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of medical billing and insurance processes is beneficial
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and patient privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA)
