Patient Registration Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival and maintain a welcoming front office lobby
• Obtain, review, and route insurance information to appropriate staff
• Distribute and review patient paperwork for accuracy and completeness
• Update patient status in the computer system according to established guidelines
• Verify insurance coverage and frequencies as needed
• Assist with attaching payments, sending claims, and checking billable x-rays
• Perform other duties as assigned to bridge the front and back office

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Dental experience preferred but not required
• Excellent customer service and patient-facing skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple demands concurrently
• Effective communication with clinical team, patients, and responsible parties
• Team-oriented mindset focused on patient care
• Positive problem-solving skills with ability to think on your feet
