Patient Registrar

Responsibilities

• Manage and create patient accounts for services rendered, including the creation of medical records
• Verify patient demographic information to ensure accuracy
• Support financial compliance by verifying insurance eligibility
• Collect payments or counsel patients on available payment options
• Work collaboratively with patients, families, and the clinical care team to support the revenue cycle

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service setting
• Proficiency in navigating and using computerized systems
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize duties and perform multiple functions

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology
