About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting to patients, healthcare professionals, and employees regarding Inspire medical devices.
- Act as a primary liaison between patients, field employees, and healthcare providers via telephone, email, text, chat, and mail.
- Assess, analyze, and document inquiries to ensure effective resolution while maintaining empathy and professionalism.
- De-escalate and manage complex or emotional conversations with callers to ensure positive outcomes.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA compliance, device tracking, and quality system complaint handling.
- Collaborate with the Quality team to report potential adverse events and product/therapy issues.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and projects to support the expansion of Inspire services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional work experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in a call center, medical customer service, or technical support role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer systems.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to use critical thinking and judgment for effective problem resolution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background or knowledge in sleep studies and sleep apnea.
- Basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with medical device industry standards and device design functions.
