About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting to patients, healthcare professionals, and employees regarding Inspire medical devices.
  • Act as a primary liaison between patients, field employees, and healthcare providers via telephone, email, text, chat, and mail.
  • Assess, analyze, and document inquiries to ensure effective resolution while maintaining empathy and professionalism.
  • De-escalate and manage complex or emotional conversations with callers to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA compliance, device tracking, and quality system complaint handling.
  • Collaborate with the Quality team to report potential adverse events and product/therapy issues.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and projects to support the expansion of Inspire services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional work experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a call center, medical customer service, or technical support role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to use critical thinking and judgment for effective problem resolution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background or knowledge in sleep studies and sleep apnea.
  • Basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Familiarity with medical device industry standards and device design functions.
