Patient Observation Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients remotely from a central command centre using telemonitoring technology
• Communicate with patients through remote channels to offer reassurance and support
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient observations and interactions
• Utilize Microsoft Office and other technology platforms efficiently
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and escalate critical situations
• Manage conflicts and navigate challenging situations during remote monitoring

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Professional proficiency in both English and French (written and verbal)
• Strong technological aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Exceptional problem-solving and conflict management skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-pressure environment
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical certificate or relevant medical education
• Previous healthcare experience
• Experience in customer service, administrative, or front-facing roles
• Proficiency in additional languages such as Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Tagalog, Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, or Spanish
