About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site patient engagement at a partner clinic in Minnesota, greeting and meeting with patients flagged for advanced therapies.
  • Educate patients on medical treatment options using clear, non-clinical language to help them feel confident in physician recommendations.
  • Drive treatment conversion by scheduling consultations and coordinating next steps for patients.
  • Partner with clinic staff, including physicians and medical assistants, to integrate into daily workflows seamlessly.
  • Track conversion metrics and report patient feedback and objections back to the Flagler team to improve the recommendation engine.
  • Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA guidelines and clinical environment protocols.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a patient-facing role (e.g., Medical Assistant, Patient Navigator, Clinic Intake, or Healthcare Sales).
  • Ability to explain complex medical concepts clearly to patients.
  • Based in Minnesota or willing to relocate, with reliable transportation to the clinic.
  • HIPAA-trained or willing to undergo training.
  • Comfortable working in a clinical environment and interacting with patients in varying states of pain or stress.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently as the primary on-site representative.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in pain management, MSK, orthopedics, or a related medical specialty.
  • Prior experience as a patient access representative or medical assistant.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish or other languages relevant to the local patient population).
  • Proximity to the partner clinic for an easy commute.
