Patient Facilitator

Responsibilities

• Transport patients using wheelchairs, stretchers, and moveable beds
• Assist patients in and out of vehicles and move them to treatment areas
• Transport laboratory specimens and medical equipment to specified areas
• Clean patient transport equipment and maintain patient rooms and common areas
• Ensure proper patient identification before transport
• Coordinate inventory by picking up bulk orders and restocking supplies
• Communicate effectively with patients, nurses, and physicians
• Follow all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of recent experience as a Transporter, Home Health Aide, CNA, EMT, or Medical Assistant
• Current driver’s license with no restrictions
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English
• Experience in customer service within high-volume, high-stress environments
• Flexibility and availability for on-call requirements
