Patient Experience Technician

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient experience in facility and lobby areas prior to discharge
• De-escalate patient complaints in person and over the phone
• Support medication coordination and medical records tasks including scanning charts
• Train staff on bedside manner and patient care expectations
• Advocate for patients by communicating urgent needs to clinical staff
• Ensure patient comfort with pillows, blankets, drinks, snacks, and regular lobby rounds
• Support efficient patient flow during registration and assist with documentation
• Maintain a clean and organized lobby and address hazards immediately

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Customer service experience in direct patient care
• High-volume or ER environment preferred
• Strong critical thinking and ability to work autonomously
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and initiative
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
• Flexible availability including on-call and coverage needs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines with accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous medical experience
• Emergency Room experience
